KASAK by Bareera is an online art studio and curio shop for people who still love ink, paper and paint. We sell hand-painted canvases, philosophical text art, commissioned portraits and the old-school tools of expression: journals, fountain pens, inks and painting supplies.
The meaning behind the name
KASAK (کسک) is an Urdu word for the soft, lingering ache that a moment, a memory or a line of poetry leaves behind. That is what every piece is meant to do: stay with its owner even when it has a lingering ache. "By Bareera" signs the work as the artist’s own.
The logo
A hand-lettered script wordmark drawn as if with a dip pen. A quill rests in an inkwell beside the last "k", as though the word has just been written.
What we value
- Meaning over mass: fewer, better pieces with a reason to exist.
- Handmade honesty: real brushstrokes, real ink, real signatures.
- Slow beauty: art that rewards time and attention.
- Warm service: personal replies and careful packing.
The Artist’s Corner
KASAK starts as a one-person studio sharing her vision and grows into a trusted home for meaningful art in Pakistan. In the Artist’s Corner, emerging artists sell their own work through KASAK. Apply to collaborate.
